KUALA LUMPUR, July 6 — Malaysia’s fiscal consolidation efforts are beginning to bear fruit, with measures to narrow the fiscal deficit and reduce government debt gaining traction despite criticism, signalling a positive outlook for the country’s sovereign credit ratings.
